A lot has been going on lately. Most of it has been things that would probably bore you. You know cheerleading games, homework, spelling tests, math and science test. However there is one thing that I am so excited about….drumroll please(imagine drumroll here : ) I have a studio! I now have a place to invite people to take pictures. I still have a little work to do,to make it more comfortable for visitors. Last Saturday I did an alter ego shoot, part of my V-day special with a fomer client and now friend Trina. I am having a hard time picking favorites to post on the blog. For now here is a tiny and do mean tiny preview. There will be more to come but it will be about two weeks for the final image. Makeup and hair was done by the wonderful Nicole Mitchell she’s on facebook, or you can contact me for her info. Nicole did an awesome job,I mean she really hooked it up. Thanks Nicole you rock! Thanks Trina for catching a cold,jk,I’m so sorry,I’m going to hook you up.
I am dog tired so I’m off to sleep, hopefully R.L. lays off on kicking me in the neck in his sleep. I know I talk in my sleep, but I don’t remember bieng such a crazy sleeper. All of my kids turn upside down and sideways, and beat up who ever they are sleeping with. I have to ask my mom if I did this when I was younger. In any case, have a great week!

I know it has been a while since I blogged : (There have been many times I thought about it only to be distracted with this and that. I hope everyone had a good holiday season, and hope you all have a good year! The kids had a great Christmas vacation, they got their ears re-pierced. Not much is going on now, enjoying the not to hectic life before spring gets here, which seems like a while away. I will be offering a Valentines Day special for boudoir session which will include a 5×5 brag book. I would recommend if you’re not taking it for a special someone to think about doing it for yourself. That way you have something to look back on. My boudoir sessions are done in a classy way; whatever you are comfortable shooting is what we will shoot.Contact me if you want details before I post the special.I will blog more this year, however, just know it might be more rambling and short. Especially I don’t have much to say. Enjoy life…don’t let anyone still your joy : )
Yesterday was R.L.’s birthday he is 2! Time goes so fast. While people were singing him the birthday song on the phone, he would smile say something, and then he was ready to get off the phone. He’s so cute, I ‘m so happy God answered our prayers for him. Two of his presents consisted of a remote control car, and a car race track. He loves them. At first he was scared of the remote control car, he wasn’t sure how it was moving. That was so funny, lol. We bought him a Lego table a while ago, and he just now really figured out how to connect them! It’s like he grew overnight.
Right now I’m watching Gone With The Wind. I watched it for the first time with my Grandma when I was 11. We watched it in one sitting. It was so great. I need to get the DVD set so I can have it in my collection. She use to tell me her husband looked like Clark Gable but with red hair and green eyes. I wish I could have met him. I love old movies, I wish I had more time to watch them.
I know it has been a while since I wrote, and I have no excuse. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I’m a little down, so here is a video that cheered me up for a minute. I hope it can do the same for you : )
Awww…Oprah made me cry : (I have not watched her from the beginning I startedwatching her about 10 years ago. I even sometimes stay up till 1am to watch an episode. I wish had been to one of her shows.
Well my main computer went down last week. Years ago something like that would not have affected me much. Now it’s like not having a leg. I’m back on track now, thank God : )I can not believe next week in Thanksgiving,, and R.L. will be 2 next month! Time is passing by so fast. The days are crisp and grey; these are the days of cozy warm rooms, a hot beverage, and family. Have a good weekend.
