If you saw that someone had a booger in their nose, or something on their backside would you tell them? At first I didn’t, but over the last few years I started telling people if something was out of place,if I noticed it. Do we not tell people there is something wrong because we are embarressed? Can we surpass our own embaressement of telling someone something is out of order, and spare them as much embaressement or whatever as possible. Think about it, the one moment it takes us to tell them, saves them the minutes, hours or days of having people looking at them funny, or the embaressement. This is how I think about it, if something is out of order, booger, bad breath, something is showing that shouldn’t be, please tell me. I might be embarressed for that moment as well, but all will be better when it is fixed. Plus I would be very grateful. I remember one day I had had a something out of place, and I went around for hours. People who I thought were my friends didn’t even tell me. When I finally looked in the mirror, I was SO embarressed. Why didn’t anyone tell me, wouldn’t they want someone to tell them. I think this goes with treat people how you want to be treated. Just a random thought. Hope everyone enjoys the sun.

Here are the images I mentioned previously of Henry. Henry was a blast to work with! He is polite, fun, full of energy, cute, and into power rangers : ) He is an up and coming model/actor, he has done a few comercials and print campaigns. I can’t wait to work with him again.
Good luck in Chicago and New York!
I found this cool looking rusty shed in someone’s backyard. It made a great background, I was so geeked when the lady said we could shoot in her yard : )

I hope everyone had a good Mothers Day. What I have realized is that we should focus on what we do have, not necessarily on what we don’t. My daughters are now 7 and 4 (almost 5), they made me cards and Aleecia made me a jewelry box. My daughter Zian who is 7 can now read and write, and it is so touching to me what she wrote on the cards she made me. If I didn’t hold back the tears I would have really cried. I thank God for my children, I could not imagine my life without them, even when I get frustrated them. When they are not home with me, I miss them. I also appreciate all the moms in my life. I have a good relationship with my mom. We may have disagreements, but I always let her know I love her. I call her almost everyday, to see if all is well. There are so many woman, that I want to speak of My aunt Sadiqah, My mother-in-law Pat, my sister-in-law Lucille, the women at my church, my friends, and even the woman who have had no biolgical children, but who have done the motherly role for myself and others. I know Mothers day is to honor mothers, but I also think of it as a day to honor women.

I have found that often times I am just running through the motions of life. I have not been doing a lot of reflection. The kind of reflection that makes you really think about not just your life and what you are accomplishing and your goals, but who you are evolving into as a person and if you like that person. I believe for the most part everyone is evolving, however, I believe that it is a matter of evolving into a good and better person internally, which will exude externally. So I pray for God to help me be the person He wants me to be. There is a prayer I have heard that goes something like, grant me the strength to except the things I can not change and the wisdom to know the difference. I don’t know the whole prayer. If anyone could help me remember it I would greatly appreciate it. When I see the sunset, it makes me pause, if not only for a second. For the second I may think how pretty it looks, the cool colors, and how God has created everything, how it’s about to be dark here, but on the other side of the world it is going to be light, how many people are looking at the same sun I am looking at, at the same time. So many thoughts, but always a pause. One day I want to watch the sunset over the water like you see on TV, and have a great conversation, and some great silent moments, while watching the sunset. One day I will experience that. I believe you work with what you have till you get what you want. So for now, I enjoy being able to walk outside of my door and see the beautiful sunset.
Enjoy! : )
