Martez and Carol Wedding

| June 25th, 2008
Last Saturday Martez and Carol were married. This is my first time blogging a wedding. Martez,Carol and I all attend the same church. Martez also grew up with my husband. I haven’t known them long, but shooting them I can tell they have a great friendship, and really love each other.Martez and Carol were great sports and we were able to get some fun images. Originally we were suppose to go to a park to take pictures, but it was wet and rainy.
Thank God the sun came out full blast and we were able to get some shots outside.Congratulations on your new life together!

Long Day

| June 22nd, 2008
Today has been such a long day. If I finished all that I need to do I probably wouldn’t go to sleep til 3 or 4am. Seeing as though I’m not  trying to kill myself, I’m going to sleep in a few short minutes. Everything I have to do will be waiting for me to do in the morning. Today Carol and Martez got married! As usuall with a wedding there are so MANY images to edit. Their wedding was very moving. It is obvious the love and friendship that they have with each other. There are so many things I would like to say,but to not bore you with a 3 page letter. I wish them much happiness, laughter and love. Give me a little time, images coming soon! Have a good night : )

Early Bird or Night Owl?

| June 17th, 2008
Summer is here! Which means many things for me,warmer weather, outside photo shoots, taking the kids outside more, and no taking the kids to school. Not having to take the kids to school means not having to wake up early, not having to MAKE sure I go to bed at a decent hour which is 11pm for me. Aleecia has been out of school for  a week. Zian’s last day is tomorrow. Already I find myself up till 1,2 and yesterday 3 in the morning. Still waking up at least by 7:30 am to get Zian ready. Sometimes I may be tired, but can’t bring myself to go to bed. When I’m up late most of the time the kids are sleeping, and nobody is fighting, asking me for anything, you get the picture. So I consider myself a night owl. If I was an early bird my time would feel limited. If I wake up at 5am,then I have 2 hours till the kids wake up. Staying up late I don’t feel rushed. That bieng said I wish I was a natural early bird. However I find myself up late working, watching tv or infomercials, or online. So now that I shared my sleep pattern, which one are you, Early Bird or Night Owl?

Here are some portraits I took of Oscar and his family. My family knows Oscar as the computer guy, because that is one of the many things he does. You can check him out at www.hardtechgroup.net   Oscar’s wife Rosa, is so friendly and a great mother. Her children are well mannered, and very charesmatic. The whole family has very expressive eyes.
It took a while to get some of them to loosen up but we managed : )

Flutter Brain

| June 7th, 2008
Oh my : )  It seems like it’s been a while since I posted. I am dog tired right now, I should be sleeping. Do you ever have a time when you don’t want to go to sleep and you know you should. I have to many of those moments, there is just so MUCH to do. I had a photoshoot with an awesome family today. Photo’s will be coming soon. I think I need to get that Nintendo DS or some video game, that has the brain excercises. It sounds cliche but lately I would forget my head if it wasn’t attached, lol. Well, it’s 2 AM, and I have one thing I MUST do before I go to sleep, or will I do it I don’t know. It’s not a MUST, just something I should do. I better get it over with before I find myself falling asleep.
