This past Sunday, my husbands grandad passed away. We never know how long we have with someone. It is so important to savor every moment you can with the people you love. Don’t spend time with a grudge or mad, life is to precious for that stuff. I have to say that I am glad I was able to meet Grandad, and he was able to meet all of my children.What a blessing to see your great-grandchildren! Grandad was a man of God, he did good by his wife and family, and he LOVED God. He will be missed by many. He will be going home Saturday. Please keep our family in your prayers. Thanks a lot…

We are getting a new puppy! We,I am so excited. We are going to name him Chi Chi after the 80’s Mon Chi Chi monkey’s. He will be home next week, pics coming soon.
He is a Poochi,part poodle,part chihuahua and oohh so cute : ) 
I have a shoot this weekend, I am so excited about, I hope the weather holds out. If anyone wants an outside photo shoot schedule it soon before the weather chanbges.

The weather was so  good this weekend! I had a shoot with Shonda and Drew. I met Shonda through Meika, and as Wendy Williams would say she is a friend in my head. It’s as if I have known her for a while. Shonda and Drew are so photogenic. I could have shot them all day, if she didn’t say she thought we had enough, or if my husband wasn’t in a rush and watching the kids : ) I love what I do! As a couple Shonda and Drew are HOT! I can’t wait for their wedding. There are so many good pictures I had a hard time choosing what I was going to post. However, I am going to post all of them in a few days on my website.

September 5, 2008 my cousin LaToya was married.  LaToya is my husbands cousin, I first met her when she was a teenager. Now she is a woman, and I can’t believe she is married! Congratulation! She was a beautiful bride, with some hot shoes. Here are some images:

Last week I started on a new endeavor. Part of this new beginning for me includes the use of what I call self-help books. So I ordered two books one is Fabulosity by Kimora lee Simmons (KLS). I first took real notice of KLS when I saw her while I was assisting my mentor shoot the hip-hop summit in Detroit. It was right before her and Russell announced their separation. I sat right across from her, she was on stage I was in the audience. I was really motivated by what she said. I watch her show and I admire her tenacity. Fast forward now I finally bought her book. I just read the Introduction and I am already motivated. I’ll update on some things that I read. However, I can already see myself recommending that you get this book.

I hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend. I had a very eventful and nice weekend with my family one event that took place was the zoo. We went to the zoo one morning, it was hot but fun. I have been extremely busy. I shot some senior pics,family picnic, and I have a wedding this weekend. Not to mention the girls started school among other things. I can’t believe my baby is in kindergarden : ( they are both growing so quick.
