This has been another busy week. I hope everyone is doing well. This year is almost over, and what a good way to start it then with a better new president. I missed the Obama “infomercia”, however, I’m sold! I was sold before I even watch it.I love watching infomercials, I even tape some of them and watch them over and over, for inspiration : ) Here is the Obama infomercial, watch it or go to his website for more info: http://www.barackobama.com/index.php
Here is the infomercial I’m going to watch it later tonight, Please don’t forget to vote!
He is saying he would do his best to make sure cars are made in America, so that would means jobs back in Detroit. Why would you not vote for him?

Hi,
Just writting a quick post about Jennifer Hudson’s family. Friday I was on my way somewhere when I heard on the radio that Jennifer Hudson’s mom and brother were found dead, and her nephew was missing. I feel so terrible for her, please keep her family and her in your prayers.
So many times on the news I hear about someone was found dead, someone was shot, someone was found murdered. It has gotten to the point where I don’t even like to watch local news anymore. However, while hearing about Jennifers family it reminds me that everytime I hear such bad news someone has lost someone they love.
While I’m ranting, I was listening to 97.1 yesterday, and the radio show was talking about how volunteers go around trying to help sway voters to a specific canidate. It came up about how some people won’t vote for Obama because of the color of his skin. That is right, because of the color of his skin. While I am fortunate, to not of experienced a lot of discremination, like there was during the civil rights moment. I am even more grateful that my children do not have to. But it hurts because I know there is a possiblity where someone can say something or do someting mean because of the color of their skin. We all want the best for our children. When Aleecia was in pre-school she would come home and aks why is so and so brown, white etc. It tickled me because she said her friend was white. However, he was a fair black child. At this moment I am shaping how she will view people of different colors. I choose to tell her that everyone is different, but underneath we are all the same, our blood is the same color, and we all have a heart and feelings.
Ok, so I digress, back to the radio show. Don’t vote for someone because of the color of their skin, vote for someone because of the issues. People need to be able to pay for food, and shelter. Our children need to be able to attend college, and not worry about the job market when they graduate. We need to look at the long-term strategy of being independent of foreign energy. Don’t forget to vote!
Ok, I am now stepping off of my soap box : )

I saw a clip on ET about this video and I found it on the internet. I am so excited about this election, for many reasons. Many people have fought hard and struggled so that I can have the right to vote so I excercise my right whenever I can. If you read my blog,
you know a little how I feel about my politician. That being said, watch this:

This has been a long week for me. That being said, here are some of my favorite shots from a shoot I had this past Saturday with Ro and Meika. Their wedding was in August, however we set up a time later to get some portraits of them. I highly suggest to brides to make sure that you set aside time for your photographer. Even if it is before the ceremony, after, or another day. These pictures can last lifetimes. Yes, you want to hurry and get to the reception, but make time for photograhs. Next to your memories, your photographs are something that you, your children, and your childrens children, will be able to enjoy. Meika and Ro, thanks again for allowing me to photography you and your specail day : )
