It’s getting warmer!

| March 27th, 2009

I am so happy that the weather is warming up, I can’t tell you how happy I am. This has been one of the busiest weeks of my life. Between the house, the family, school, work, and all the extra stuff thrown in I don’t know how my mind is still functioning at a decent level : )  Through all the choas I am so excited, I have two shoots that are on the creative side…more on that at a later date. I tried doing yoga yesterday, I bought a video from Target a while ago. There are five 20 minute workouts for a.m. it’’s by Rodyne Yee. I did the first set, which was a standing pose series. I have to say, I can see how you can become tone, with some of these poses. Having to stand with one leg up, and the other lifted up at the top of your inner thigh with your hands up, can be challenge. At least it was for me, practice makes perfect, or near perfect right. I feel like talking about randomness, but I have still so much to do. So I am ending this abruptly, but stay tune, I’ll be posting a spring fling special in a couple of post.

What would you do…

| March 18th, 2009

So I’m watching What Would you Do on  ABC. You know the show where they have hidden camera’s and set up scenarios to see what people will do. Last time I watched they had  a child actor in a park and her nanny walked away. The show wanted to see what would people do if a strange man, or man tried to walk away with the child. There are so many different scenarios I have seen on here. It is interesting to see how people react. I almost cried watching “Young girl forced into Marriage”, and the courageous women who stepped up.Stepping outside of your normal life takes courage, really, these people are taking chances. Who knows what would happen in these situations in real life, if no one stepped up. I suppose the same could be applied to our normal life. If we don’t have courage to do something different, take risk, what are we missing. Zian asked to stay up (past her bedtime) to watch and I agreed.
Hopefully she learns, what I firmly believe. Treat people how you want to be treated.

Golden Year

| March 9th, 2009

I was speaking to someone recently and she informed me that this year is my husband’s Golden year. This means that the day your birthday is on, and the age you are turning are the same. So that means I really need to make it as special as I can. I would give you details but that wouldn’t make for a good surprise for hubby. It’s also our 9 year anniversary. Wow, that is a long time. I can’t wait for 10 years,
 you know double digits.

Ok, going back to golden years mine would be when I turned 12. It was a great year for me. I was living with my grandma and grandpa in Tacoma/Spanaway Washington. My Aunt Sadiqah came out, and gave me something special, and my cousin was there. He is the same age as me. Staying with my grandma was the best time of my life.  I’m grateful I was able to spend time with her.
