Old Hollywood….Kristie
| May 19th, 2009Well I did not post before the weekend was over. I did post but I wanted to post some pictures. In any case I’m so tired right now, I am about to take myself to sleep. The next two days are going to be buzy. I’m in one of those tired states were I’m rambling, so I’m going to get straight to the point. These images are of Kristie, whom I met through Knee. You may remember him from some previous post. Kristie is a great gal who helped me with a project. It was a blast collaborating with her for the shoot. This is my first time playing with this old Hollywood type of lighting, and I LOVE IT. I definitely want to try it again. Ok, here are the pictures : )

Farrah’s Chronicle…

Oh my goodness, I just caught the last 5-10 minutes of Farrah Faucet’s chronicle of cancer. My eyes started to tear and heart aches. Not only for her but for all the people and families who go through the journey or path of cancer. I don’t know much about her, I know she was on Charlies Angels, I watched one or two episodes of her reality show. She seems like a cool person. My heart goes out to her, her son and everyone who loves her. During the chronicle it showed her son visiting his mom, maybe for the last time. He told her he loved her, asked how she was doing. He seemed really shaken (imagine seeing your mom in that condition). Someone asked her son if he was going to change his life in tribute to her. He said yes, I really hope he does. I’m sure that it would break her heart if she knew what he was going through. I really hope that he lives his life in a way that would make his mom proud/happy. At the end of the chronicle they played Mellissa Ethridge’s son “I run”, what a great song. Those last few minutes make me want to run or do some kind of marathon for cancer research. I’m going to look into this… for real. I just wanted to post because this story and others like it really touch my heart. It also makes me so,so…. THANKFUL that my Aunt won her fight with cancer. I couldn’t imagine my life without her, I couldn’t imagine any part of my life without her. Thank you God for saving her! I also wanted to add it really seems like Farrah loves Ryan O’Neal and he really loves her. I’m glad that she has him in her life, especially now.

Happy Belated Mothers Day…and Randomness
| May 15th, 2009I know it has been a while. I hope everyone had a good Mothers Day, I did. After church my husband barbequed, and we watched a movie. Zian bought me a rose from school that says ” I love you mom you’re the best”. Aleecia made me a handprint and a little mailbox. I know they waited all week to give it to me. Then Aleecia blurted out what Zian got me, and they started going back and forth. For the whole Week! I love them so much!
I know that this year was Jennifer’s first Mothers Day. So I’m wishing her a happy belated Mothers Day. Here are some pictures, I took these pictures of her and her new baby girl Olivia during the beginning of April, when I dropped off her gallery wrap. Please check out those images as well. With her wedding package she received an 11×14 gallery wrap. I have to go but don’t be surprised if I post again before the week is over.
Don’t you hate when your post gets erased : ( I was almost done with this post and somehow it all got erased. I did save part of my post in another program (Microsoft OneNote, love it so much. Thanks Aunt Sadiqah. If you’re a list person or love notebooks you need to get this) In any case , to say what I was saying before. I’m slowly changing things on my website and blog. I’m lovin this font, it is ‘fine hand’. Also the purple and gold ottomon the wrap is on is what I’m basing my decorations on for my studio. I am thinking purple, gold, light brown of some sort, and cream. Doesn’t that sound good. I found some purple towels with those colors, I was so excited. Purple is my favorite color, the dark satin color is my favorite, but I love all shades I don’t discriminate : ) If anyone has any ideas let me know. One last thing I went to a resale store and found a secretary desk. I have been wanting one for so long, I got it for $7.00. I’m going to sand it and paint it, maybe even use some stencils. It’s not a big desk but, my office space is not that big. It’s big enough for me now though. Ok, I got off to rambling. I’m really going now : )
