I can’t believe I missed Desperate Housewives : ( I caught the last half of Brothers and Sisters, yay! I have not watched one episode of Dancing with the Stars. I have resorted to taping General Hospital, in order to catch-up. I thought with the kids in school I would get to watch some TV, I have been totally wrong so far.

The change of the season which is one of my pros of living in Michigan always brings me allergies. This year has been one of the worst for my family and allergies. So if you talk to me and I sound like a man, or I just woke up, or I can’t stop coughing, please excuse me. I can’t wait till it’s over! I really need to get an in between coat, or a fall coat ,or learn how to avoid these allergies : ) Here is a quick post. This is my cousin Richards wife, can you say work (snap),it(snap),girl (snap)[all snaps in a Z pattern of course : )]. I love when brides relax, usually it may take a while, but she walked in ready. Here’s a sneak peek of their photos. I have decided even though no one has had an interest or comment to have my annual free wedding photography contest. More details to come…stay tuned. Now I’m off to clean house and get ready for bible study.

“If you continue to do want you always do,
You’ll continue to get what you always got!
~~~@~~~@~~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~
1. Quit arguing with people about the same old foolishness! Respect their position and keep it moving!
2. Quit telling people your secrets when you know they are not going to keep them! And if you keep telling them, then quit getting mad when they tell your secrets!
3. Quit trying to pull people on your journey who don’t want to travel
with you. Either they believe in you and value you…or they don’t!
4. Quit complaining about things you can’t and won’t change!
5. Quit gossiping about other people! Minding our own business should be a full time job!
6. Quit blaming each other for things that in the big picture aren’t going to matter three weeks from now! Talk solutions…and then implement them!
7. Quit eating things you know are not good for you! If you can’t
quit…eat smaller portions!
8.. Quit buying things when we know we can’t afford them! If you don’t have self control, then quit going to the stores! Quit charging things, especially when you don’t NEED them!
9. Quit staying in unhealthy relationships! It is not okay for people to verbally or physically abuse you! So quit lying to yourself! It is not okay to stay in the marriage for the children! Ask them and they will tell you that they really would prefer to see you happy and that the misery you and your spouse/partner are living with is affecting them!
10. Quit letting family members rope you into the drama! -Start telling them you don’t want to hear it! Quit spreading the drama! Quit calling other relatives and telling them about your cousin or aunt! Go back to #5 minding your own business should be enough to keep you busy!
11. Quit trying to change people! IT DOESN’T WORK! Quit cussing people out when you know that they are just being the miserable and jealous people that they are!
12. Quit the job you hate! Start pursuing your passion. Find the job that fuels your passion BEFORE you quit!
13. Quit volunteering for things that you aren’t getting any personal fulfillment from anymore! Quit volunteering for things and then failing to follow through with your commitment!
14. Quit listening to the naysayers! Quit watching the depressing news if you are going to live in the doom and gloom of it all!
15. Quit making excuses about why you are where you are or why you can’t do what you want to do!
16. Quit waiting on others to give you the answers…and start finding the answers for yourself! If what you are doing isn’t working for you…then quit it!
17. Quit settling and start making your dreams a reality!- Quit being afraid and START LIVING YOUR LIFE! CREATE THE LIFE YOU WANT! If you want something different than what you have had in the past….you must quit doing what you have done before and DO something different! JUST QUIT IT …… and START DOING something to create the experience you want!
One of my students emailed this to me, I found it so true. I am working on number 7 : ) I do not think I am perfect, we all might have some things we need to change or improve on. However, I think this was a nice email so I’m sharing it with you. I really do believe we should start doing, and create the life we want.
I was going to only post that however, while watching TV a few additional things came to me. While creating the life you want, don’t compare yourself with others. You only fail when you stop trying. If your trying and giving it your best be happy,at least your doing something. Good luck,and God Bless : )
I’m posting the video more for the song,yeah it’s nice to see Michael. Try to ignore the people falling out.
I was watching Youtube and all I can say to the video is Oh Nooo he didn’t (to both males). I was laughing at the end when I was watching the little boy.
God please keep me if my children every talk or do anything like that to me. God if anyone every does anything to my children please keep me. If you
don’t God I think it might be my mugshot on TV, for going out on someone. Lord please keep me.
On another note, thinking about doing the wedding contest again this year. I had no entries last year. If there is anyone interested in a wedding contest please leave a comment,I’ll go from there.
Tomorrow is the holiday hope everyone has a good day.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow what a day! : ) So many nice surprises. When I went to church today, someone was passing out some delicious Roma tomatoes. My Aunt gave me a bottle of Halle perfume. You just don’t know I am obsessed with this perfume. I have been smelling myself every since I got it I opened as soon as I got in the car. I would go into Walgreens just to spray it on myself. Every time I go to church my Aunt would be wearing this perfume. I always try to hug her when I see her but I would look forward to smelling her. Now I can’t stop smelling myself. So if you see me walking and driving and my arm is to my nose, now you know why : ) lol If ever I had a favorite perfume this is it. And I just found out one of my favorite photographers Jasmine Star is coming to Michigan ,Holllla ! I read her blog with my coffee. I’m so excited, God is good!
I’m also attaching a picture of my family from a few weeks ago. My uncle insisted that I get a picture with my family. He said as is true, I’m always taking the pictures. So while the background leaves some to be desired. I am so happy to have a photo of us all together. If you can not tell. R.L. would not put his cup down for N-E-Thing. He was so tired and his tummy wa s so full. He fell asleep as soon as his head hit the car seat : ) lol
School is coming, we are working on potty training R.L. Colder weather is sneaking up on us which means the holidays are coming. My girls are thinking about what they want to be for Halloween and what they want for Christmas. All this makes me think…think R.L. is going to be two : ( the end of the year will be here, and spring will be here before we know it. Man time is going fast, or am I wishing it away? I’m yearning for warmer weather already.
This past weekend was very busy. My father-in-law had his 35th high
school reunion and prophets day. I shot both events, I have edited the reunion and it is located in my client’s link on my website. As soon as I get a chance to edit Prophets Day I will add that to the clients link as well. I am designing an album for the reunion please contact me if you are interested in purchasing it. I don’t have much to say, surprisingly I have been going to bed early. Still working on waking up earlier, however, two more weeks and the girls are back in school. No more late nights and late mornings : ( Winter is on it’s way ya’ll.
On another note,today is my father-in-law’s B-day.
Happy Birthday Dad!
His birthday is special to me because it is the day that my husband and I met. Happy Birthday Dad! : )
I hope all is well. My birthday was good. Reginald took me out to breakfast and we watched Lord of the Rings. My friend Shonda made me a great cake. I’ll blog about her cakes another time. It was a relaxing birthday. I wanted to post this video I saw on Youtube. It really had me laughing, I bet this was fun to photograph.
I hope everyone is enjoying summer! I was looking at my calendar; I can’t believe there are three weeks till school starts. No more late nights and late mornings. The kids are really enjoying their summer. We didn’t swim very much this year. Lord willing, we are going to make up for it next summer. We got a sprinkler and the kids love it. It is so funny to watch them in the sprinkler. Sometimes you have to just stop and look around. At my last job one of the guys said you need to stop and really just look at your kids. Watch them play, watch them read, grow. In a way doing this is a photograph for the memory. I try to do this; I really am trying to enjoy my kids as they grow. I’m sure there will be days when they won’t be around; they’ll be doing their own thing. Ok, enough of those sentiments. Here is a wedding I helped someone with. It was my first outdoor wedding, it was beautiful. It was my first time meeting the bride and groom. This usually happens when I second shoot for someone. I also ran into an old co-worker. She is a sweetie hey, if your reading this call me : )
I wish we had more time for photos. These two were really working it.
A little humor…
First dance…
Sweet and hot…
I love black and white. I also love the old school processing to some pictures.. Why so many hand photos you ask I don’t know. For me there is something to be said about how a couple holds on to their soon to be spouse during the time when they are vowing their love to each other.
